DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Day 1 – Bangkok - Arrival
On arrival you will be met by your expert tour guide and transferred to your hotel. You have the rest of the day to explore this amazing city.

Day 2 – Bangkok
Sightseeing includes a visit to Wat Pho and the Grand Palace, with its colourful temples and golden stupas. You'll also enjoy a ride in a long tail boat along the Chao Phraya River to Pak Klong Talaat Flower Market followed by a stroll through Chinatown.

Day 3 – Bangkok - Chiang Mai
Visit the Damneon Saduak floating Market and the Railway Track Market. Later, board the overnight train to Chiang Mai.

Day 4 – Chiang Mai
Arrive in Chiang Mai and visit the city's biggest market, Talat Warorod, for a stroll among the colourful stalls. Later, visit Wat Dai Suthep in time for sunset. In the evening, enjoy a performance of ancient dances and songs from northern Thailand and visit the colourful night market.

Day 5 – Hmong Hill Tribes Lodge
Travel to a small village, home to the H'mong Hill Tribes where you'll stay overnight and enjoy a BBQ dinner and a cultural show.

Day 6 – Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai
Visit the Chiang Dao Elephant Camp and experience an elephant ride along with gentle bamboo river rafting along the Mae Ping River. Transfer to Thaton and board a long tail boat on the Mae Kok River to Baan Pha Tai, where you'll continue by road to Chiang Rai.

Day 7 – Chiang Rai - Pakbeng
Cross the border at Huay Xai into Laos and cruise to Pakbeng, visiting some local Minority Villages en route.

Day 8 – Pakeng - Luang Prabang
Travel downstream on the Mekong River visiting Ban Khok Ek, a traditional Laotian village. After lunch, you'll learn about the process of making rice alcohol and visit the Pak Ou Caves before continuing to Luang Prabang.

Day 9 – Luang Prabang
Sightseeing by tuk-tuk includes a visit to Wat Mai, Wat Sensoukarahm, Wat Visoune and Wat Xieng Thong. You'll also climb Phousi hill for breath taking views over the city and take some time to explore the colourful hill tribes market.

Day 10 – Villages & Waterfalls
Arise early to watch a Takbat Alms Giving Ceremony and visit the National Museum. You'll then travel to the Kuang Si Waterfalls and visit an H'mong Village. Return to Luang Prabang stopping at Ock Pop Tok Weaving Centre along the way.

Day 11 – Luang Prabang - Vang Vieng
Travel to Vang Vieng and visit Phoukhoun and the stunning village of Pathang.

Day 12 – Vang Vieng - Vientiane
Visit Tham Chang Caves before continuing to Vientiane.

Day 13 - Vientiane
Sightseeing includes a visit to Thongkhankham Market, Wat Si Saket, Wat Phra Keo, Pha That Luang Stupa and Patuxai Victory Monument. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Lao dinner followed by a dance show.

Enjoy a free morning in Vientiane, before transfer to airport for departure flight.
