DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Day 1: Ha Noi - Mai Chau

Leave Ha Noi by road for Mai Chau through scenic scenery and villages. Upon arrival check into Mai Chau Lodge and enjoy the lodge’s facilities.

Overnight in Mai Chau
Day 1: Ha Noi - Mai Chau
Day 2 : Mai Chau – Hang Kia Village

This morning cycle around the surrounding the low lying villages and wave to the locals out in the fields. After lunch, drive to the H’mong village of Sa Linh and take a three hour hike along jungle paths to Hang Kia village, where you will stay overnight with a local family.

Day 2 : Mai Chau – Hang Kia Village
Day 3: Hang Kia Village – Van Village

Today get off the beaten track as you trek through tropical rainforest, using local tracks and passing through cornfields as you descend into the valley of Mai Chau. Late in the afternoon arrive at Van village and spend the night in a traditional house.  Enjoy dinner with your host family and afterwards try some of the local homemade rice wine!

Day 3: Hang Kia Village – Van Village
Day 4: Van Village – Mai Chau Lodge – Ha Noi

Trek this morning to Xam Khoe village for a quick chat and where a vehicle will transport you to Mai Chau Lodge. Take a short refreshment before heading back to Ha Noi.
